Lymphatic Drainage in Lehi, Utah

We help individuals who are dealing with swelling, lymphedema, or poor immune function get relief and improved health without having to suffer through uncomfortable symptoms by providing Lymphatic Drainage Massage.

Powerful Recovery Tool

Lymphatic Drainage is a specialized, gentle massage technique designed to stimulate the flow of lymph fluid throughout your body. This slow, light-touch modality works by carefully manipulating the body’s lymphatic pathways, encouraging the natural movement and drainage of lymph fluid.

Our skilled therapists use precise, rhythmic movements to stimulate lymph flow, which can have numerous benefits for your overall health and well-being. Lymphatic Drainage is known to improve the body’s circulation and boost immune system function, helping you feel more energized and resilient. It’s particularly effective at reducing swelling and inflammation, making it an excellent choice for those dealing with edema or post-injury recovery.

Beyond its physical benefits, Lymphatic Drainage can also improve digestive health, promoting better nutrient absorption and waste elimination. It’s a powerful tool for post-surgery recovery, helping to reduce swelling and speed up the healing process. Many clients also report feeling deeply relaxed during and after their sessions, experiencing a reduction in stress and tension.

Natural Detox Effect

Additionally, lymphatic massage may support your body’s natural detoxification processes, helping to clear out toxins and waste more efficiently. This can lead to improved skin health, better energy levels, and an overall sense of vitality. By supporting your body’s natural healing processes, Lymphatic Drainage contributes to a profound sense of well-being and improved overall health.

Whether you’re dealing with specific health concerns or simply looking to enhance your body’s natural functions, Lymphatic Drainage offers a gentle yet powerful approach to wellness. Our team is dedicated to providing personalized care, ensuring that each session is tailored to your unique needs and goals.

FAQs

How long of a session should I schedule?

Lymphatic Drainage is offered in 60-minute (front of body excluding face), 75-minute (front of body plus face (helpful for skin issues like acne or sinus issues)), and 90-minute sessions (full body front and back). For general maintenance and no specific concerns, most clients can achieve the desired results in a 60-minute session.

Should I arrive early for my session?

Please arrive a few minutes early for your session with enough time to use the restroom and drink water. Your session starts at the scheduled time and will end accordingly. Session times will not be extended for late arrivals.

Do I remove all of my clothing for Lymphatic Drainage?

Yes, a Lymphatic Drainage client typically undresses to their comfort level, which may include underwear, depending on your preference. Your Lymphatic Drainage therapist will step out of the room to give you privacy to undress and get comfortable on the table. You will be properly draped with a sheet during the massage for privacy and warmth (under Utah law).

What will I experience during a Lymphatic Drainage session?

Many clients experience relaxation, pain relief, an increase in circulation, or pressure from fluid build-up. Oftentimes, clients may need to use the restroom mid-session due to the movement of lymphatic fluids in the body during the session.

What might a client experience after a session?

The client may experience an increase in energy, sweating, urination, and bowel movements and/or may have flu-like symptoms, heightened emotions, or emotional release for up to 48 hours after a Lymphatic Drainage session. (This is completely normal).

How often should I get a massage?

The frequency of massage can vary depending on your individual needs. Many clients find that regular monthly or bi-weekly massages help them maintain optimal health and wellness. Your therapist can provide a recommendation based on your specific situation.
